It has been reported that Yoshizawa Ryo has been questioned by Tokyo Metropolitan Police over suspicion of trespassing stemming from an incident on December 30. On at that, around 10:30 PM, he entered the apartment next to his while drunk, without permission.
According to the person who lives there, Ryo accidently entered the apartment, which was unlocked. There was no tampering with the door or its lock by Ryo. The incident last about five minutes, with Ryo using the restroom during this time. He caused no damage to the apartment and did no harm to those who live there.
Amuse, the company which manages Ryo, released a statement on its website stating what happened, and added that both he and the company have apologized to those affected. They also stated that Ryo has since moved out of this apartment next door.
In response to this, Asashi Beer has dropped Ryo as the face for its product “Dry Crystal”, terminating their contract with him effective immediately. The company has removed all photos and videos of him advertising their product. Given that this incident occurred while he was drunk and they are an alcoholic beverage company, Asahi Beer said that they could not accept what happened on the night of December 30.
