Former NMB48 and AKB48 member Yamamoto Sayaka announced today that as of December 31st she would be terminating her contract with Yoshimoto Kogyo‘s subdivision Showtitle and forming her own agency going forward.
The full text of her announcement is below.
I, Yamamoto Sayaka, would like to announce that my management contract with Showtitle will end on December 31st, 2022 and I will be leaving the agency.
I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to everyone who has watched over and supported me, including fans, coworkers and staff. I have gained so much as a result of my relationship with everyone and cannot thank everyone enough for the support I have received throughout my career.
Although I am still a novice, I will continue to try my best and hope that you would continue to support me in the future as well.

The name of the new corporation has not yet been unveiled.
