Eternal idol, singer, and actress Seiko Matsuda (62) has rarely had any major breaks during her career, and today it was revealed that she had also been undertaking courses at Chuo University’s Faculty of Law for the past 4 years while balancing studies with her music activities. In an interview with Sports Hochi, she commented “I am very happy to have been able to graduate from the Faculty of Law at Chuo University. The four years that I was a student at Chuo University were a wonderful time for me. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the professors and everyone involved for their warm guidance.” Seiko debuted with the single “Hadashi no Kisetsu” in April 1980 and has since spawned a career spanning over 40 years. While continuing to try new challenges in her artistic career, she also decided to go to university and earn a degree in order to avoid any regrets.
