The year is coming to an end, and Oricon has now released its year end charts for 2025. These charts measure the period from 12/9/24 – 12/7/25.
HANA‘s “ROSE” topped the year end Combined Single chart. They are the only female act to top a year end chart this year. They are also the first female act to top this chart since AKB48 in 2019.
Snow Man‘s “THE BEST 2020 – 2025” topped the year end Combined Album chart.
Snow Man’s “SERIOUS” is the best selling single of 2024. This is the second consecutive year that they have topped this chart. They are the first male act to ever top this chart three times, and the second group do it, following AKB48.
Snow Man’s “THE BEST 2020 – 2025” is also the best selling album of the year. This is the third year in a row they have topped this chart.
Yonezu Kenshi‘s “Plazma” is also the best selling digital single of 2024. He is the first act to top this chart three times.
Mrs. GREEN APPLE‘s “10” is the best selling digital album of the year.
Mrs. GREEN APPLE’s “Lilac” is also the most streamed song of 2025.
