Earlier today, the “66th Japan Record Awards” were held. Mrs. GREEN APPLE took home the top prize of the night for the second year in a row, this time for their song “Lilac”, beating out Da-iCE, Omoinotake, Yamauchi Keisuke, NewJeans, FRUITS ZIPPER, Creepy Nuts, BE:FIRST, Junretsu, and JO1.
Kocchi no Kento took home the Best New Artist Award, winning against ILLIT, Umetani Kokoro, Koyama Yudai, and ME:I.
