Koda Kumi is currently celebrating her 25th anniversary! As part of this celebration, she will release a new summer EP, “De-CODE”, on August 13. This is her first summer EP since 2014’s “HOTEL.”
“De-CODE” serves as a way of Kumi to break out of her shell and update herself. This release shows her current music style, with songs ranging from upbeat summer sounds to soothing midtempos. It includes the song “ChaO!”, which serves as the theme song for the animated film “ChaO.”
