On March 25, King & Prince will release their new single, “Waltz for Lily.” The song serves as the theme song for group member Ren Nagase‘s new film, the live action adaptation of “Oni no Hanayom.”
Written for the film, “Waltz for Lily” features romantic lyrics that capture the film’s worldview. As the title indicates, the song is a sophisticated waltz, but contain Japanese elements, with the song being new ground for King & Prince.
This single also contains new versions of two of the group’s older songs, “Misbehave” and “I promise.”
The music video for “Waltz for Lily” has now been released. It’s a clip full of emotion and beauty. From the costumes, which feature floral and glossy elements, to the graceful choreography to the set, the attention to detail was key to create a complete worldview. Check it out below!
