April 10 is a big day for STARTO ENTERTAINMENT. As previously reported, today is the day that the company officially launches. As part of this effort, it has launched its new website and X (Twitter) account.
One of the announcements on the new STARTO site included information about the future plans of one of the company’s most iconic groups: ARASHI.
The five members of ARASHI came together to announce that they have formed a new company in conjunction with STARTO. They are currently celebrating their 25th anniversary and now all in their 40s. Due to these factors, ARASHI has decided to form this new company so that they can “be more independent than ever before, make more independent decisions than ever before, and act more independently than ever before.” They also formed it in an effort to feel closer to their fans who have supported them over the decades. After much discussion, all five members came to the decision to start their own company.
While they do admit that there are limits to what they can do, they do look forward to a bright future.
