“April, Come She Will” trailer with theme song by Fuji Kaze now available

The theme song for upcoming romance film “April Becomes a Girlfriend” (or Shigatsu ni Nareba Kanojo wa) starring Takeru Sato, Masami Nagasawa and Nana Mori is revealed to be Fujii Kaze’s new song “Michiteyuku”. The film is set to be released nationwide on March 22, 2024 and the trailer is now available. This will be the first time that Fujii Kaze provides the theme song for a feature film.

The story is based on the best-selling novel of the same name by popular author Genki Kawamura.The main character, Shun Fujishiro (played by Sato), is a psychiatrist who is about to marry his fiancée Yayoi Sakamoto (played by Nagasawa), who mysteriously disappears just before the wedding. Letters from all around the world written by his first love, Haru Iyoda (played by Mori) also start to arrive. The present and past, Japan and overseas, become intertwined in an epic love story. This film is directed by Tomokazu Yamada who is making his directorial debut.
