Japan Weekend Box Office 05/03 – 05/05: ‘Detective Conan: The Million-dollar Pentagram’ continues to dominate the box office after 4 consecutive weeks

The box office for the days of May 3 to May 5 saw “Detective Conan: The Million-dollar Pentagram” still on top after 4 weeks since release.The film welcomed 1.13 million moviegoers and box office revenue of 1.62 billion yen, exceeding the previous week’s results.The cumulative results are now 8,453,000 moviegoers, and the box office revenue of 12 million yen. Newly released films that were able to debut within the top 10 include “18×2 Beyond Youthful Days” starring Taiwanese actor Greg Hsu and Kaya Kiyohara in 7th place and “Buzzy Noise” starring JO1’s Takumi Kawanishi in 10th place.
