On March 25th, the May 2023 issue of “smart” magazine will be released and this time boy group JO1 will be on the cover. The issue will include a 13-page special feature about JO1 with new interviews and photos.
In one of the interviews, Ren confessed, “Ruki is my rival these days,” and added, “We often debate about which one is weirder, which one is more picky, or which one is slimmer. That’s why I believe we became rivals.” Ruki and Ren are known by the chemi name “Byakuren” (白蓮) by fans.
