Snow Man Announces 1st Stadium Concerts, Breaks Sales Record

Today, January 22, marks the fifth anniversary of Snow Man‘s debut! To celebrate this moment, the group released its first best album, “THE BEST 2020 – 2025.”  The album opened to huge success, selling 1,104,605 copies in its first day of release. This marks the first time that an album has sold a million copies in its first day, according to Oricon, which started tracking daily sales on March 2, 2009.

As part of their fifth anniversary celebration, Snow Man also held a YouTube livestream, “Snow Man Debut 5 Shunen! Minna de Iwatchaou Nama Haishin.” It was during this livestream that Snow Man made a big announcement: their first stadium concerts! Titled “Snow Man 1st Stadium Live ~Snow World~”, the concert series sees Snow Man performing at National Stadium and Nissan Stadium this spring.

4/19 – 20: Tokyo at National Stadium

6/7 – 8: Kanagawa at Nissan Stadium

Snow Man is the third Johnny & Associates’ / STARTO to perform at National Stadium, following in the footsteps of SMAP and Arashi.

Snow Man will also appear on the first global edition of VI/NYL, out February 10. Following in the footsteps of fashion and culture magazines NYLON JAPAN and HIGHSNOBIETY JAPAN, VI/NYL was launched in September 2021. The new global version of the magazine will be based in London, and sold in some bookstores in Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Japan. In the future, VI/NYL will expand beyond magazines, and into a seamless media brand that also includes web media, videos, radio, and events. Check out Snow Man’s cover below!
