Travis Japan to Release New Single and EP

Travis Japan made history when they became the first JPop act to break into the top five of the Billboard Global Excluding US chart with their debut single “JUST DANCE!” last year. The group is now set to release their followup!

On May 15, the group will release their second single “Moving Pieces.” It will be available for streaming worldwide that day on multiple platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.

“Moving Pieces” was produced by Poo Bear, the man behind songs such as Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?”, Ed Sheeran’s “I Don’t Care”, and Usher’s “Caught Up.” With their new song, he has captured the individuality of Travis Japan’s seven members, while at the same time showcasing just how in sync the guys are as a group.

The song’s music video will be released on May 15 as well on YouTube. It is choreographed by Travis Payne, whose vast body of work includes Michael Jackson‘s “This Is It” tour and Lady Gaga’s “The Monster Ball Tour.”

In related news, Travis Japan will also release their first digital EP on June 5, featuring their current CM songs “Charging!” and “Still on a journey.” More news on this release is yet to come.

Of their new single, Kaito “Chaka” Miyachika says, “Our long-awaited second single “Moving Pieces” has finally been announced! It is a song that captures the dynamic future of Travis Japan and invites people everywhere to gather and just have fun.” He adds, “It was produced by Poo Bear, who we recorded with in person in Miami, and choreographed by one of our two so-called “birth fathers”: the incomparable Travis Payne. We hope that everyone will give it a listen and get excited for our upcoming EP as well!”
