THE RAMPAGE Arena Tour THE RAMPAGE LIVE TOUR 2022 RAY OF LIGHT Reaches Its Finale

THE RAMPAGE from EXILE TRIBE released their newest album “RAY OF LIGHT” in January 2022, in honor of celebrating their 5th anniversary since debut. In order to celebrate such a memorable milestone with fans, the arena tour THE RAMPAGE LIVE TOUR 2022 “RAY OF LIGHT” which held 25 performances in 14 cities from April to December, reached its finale at Ariake Arena in Tokyo on December 30th. The setlist during the final concert of the tour differed slightly from the other 24 dates, but in total 31 songs (including a medley encore), were performed.

In 2022, five years after their debut, each member of THE RAMPAGE has undergone a major evolution, becoming artists who shine like no other. The opening VCR during the finale concert showed how each member joined together to form 16 unobstructed rays that ran through cyberspace and then appeared in front of their fans on the actual stage all dressed in black cloaks. Amidst the excitement of countless laser beams and lights, the 16 members revealed their colorful costumes, followed by the opening song “RAY OF LIGHT” being performed. During the tour the members were able to showcase their explosive and powerful performance, soulful singing voices of the three vocalists, and sharp choreographies. The setlist also showed a diverse amount of genres with their debut song “Lightning” that has a strong hip-hop flavor, to unique arrangements for songs such as leader LIKIYA’s catchy reggae-style “LA FIESTA” and Latin-esque “Fandango” choreographed by the youngest Takuma Goto.

Other parts of the setlist included the ballad section where each vocalist sang a solo, followed by “Anata e” (originally an EXILE song) being covered by the three of them in honor of EXILE’s 20th anniversary. Hip-hop sub unit MA55IVE, consisting of five performers, LIKIYA, Kenta Kamiya, Shogo Yamamoto, Shohei Urakawa, and Takahide Suzuki performed three songs including “RIDE OR DIE” from the “HiGH & LOW THE WORST BEST ALBUM” soundtrack.

During the MC portion, the members looked back on the year and the tour, and expressed their wishes for 2023. Leader LIKIYA said, “I strongly feel that we want to be the pride of everyone. We want to make dreams that can’t be fulfilled by ourselves together, and we will be the driving force behind everyone’s dreams. I think it would be great if we could become one with the fans. There may be hard times ahead, but I’m sure there will be more fun things. I’d like you to work with us to create the bottomless, bright energy that entertainment has to offer, and we’ll continue to walk together. I want you to spend your life with me and THE RAMPAGE. Thank you for the past year!”

During the encore the 16 members appeared in silver costumes and energetically performed the theme song “THE POWER” from the movie “HiGH & LOW THE WORST X”. After that, they performed their latest rock song “ROUND UP feat. MIYAVI” that featured world-famous guitarist MIYAVI, and “SWAG & PRIDE”, the song from the movie “HiGH & LOW THE WORST.” After everyone left the stage, the announcement video of the new album “ROUND & ROUND”, which will be released on February 22nd 2023, began to play. At the next moment, when it was announced that the lead song of the new album “NO GRAVITY” would be performed for the first time. THE RAMPAGE then reappeared in new all-white outfits, and performed “NO GRAVITY” as the final song and THE RAMPAGE LIVE TOUR 2022 RAY OF LIGHT officially came to an end.
