On December 22nd, the much followed series silent ended its broadcast with a viewer rating of 5.3% and household rating of 9.3%. This would be the highest rating for the series since it began to air.
In addition, this would be the first time in 4 years that the ending episode of a Thursday Gekijo series would cross the 5% threshold, reflecting the drama’s massive popularity. On TVer, the Japanese streaming service, the final episode continues to maintain its number one overall ranking. In addition, a rebroadcast just for the Kanto region is scheduled everyday from December 27th JST.
