Earlier this year, NHK announced that they would be creating a drama adaptation of Yoshinaga Fumi‘s celebrated manga Ooku. Today they released the key visuals for the series.
Airing in the Drama 10 slot, the series will star a large cast including Naka Riisa, Yamamoto Kouji and Ryuu Raita. The series itself has been adapted in the past to vast acclaim, most famously as a movie starring Ko Shibasaki. The key visual was designed by artist Kiyokawa Asami. The series is set to air January 10th, 2023.
