Last year, LDH announced the formation of a new girl group inspired by “Sailor Moon”, SG5. Standing for “Sailor Guardians 5”, the group is composed of Happiness members MIYUU, SAYAKA, KAEDE and RURI, along with iScream member RUI. This group has an international focus, as their string of performances at American anime conventions last year attests to. Grammy Award-winning songwriter and producer BloodPop® is the group’s executive producer and co-creative director.
On March 1, SG5 will release their debut digital single, “Firetruck.” Even though the group is aiming for an international audience, the song is in Japanese and English. Check it out below!
