Top 10 Most Popular Summer 2023 Japanese Dramas, According to Filmarks

Japan’s leading movie, drama, and anime review website “Filmarks” released the 2023 summer drama satisfaction ranking this month, and TBS drama “VIVANT” starring Masato Sakai took the top spot. Of the top 10, it is worth noting that four are from streaming service Netflix including second place “THE DAYS” starring Koji Yakusho. The ranking included dramas that started broadcasting or distribution during the summer of 2023 (between June 1st and August 31st), and is based on the average scores from the Filmarks site.

  8. Turn to me Mukai-kun (NTV)
  9. The Greatest Teacher (NTV)
  10. Burn the House Down (Netflix)
