On Monday September 25, it has been revealed that Hiroyuki Igarashi, also known professionally as EXILE HIRO, will return to the position of president and CEO of LDH JAPAN. In the statement released on the official LDH website it said that after the COVID-19 pandemic HIRO had a lot of time to think about himself, LDH’s future, and the company’s purpose. Ultimately this led to the decision to return to the role of CEO and president in order to take the lead in promoting his ideas. From October, the plan is to have a fresh start with a new structure in order to transform the current LDH into an organization that is more capable to contribute to the industry, and to the satisfaction of all the stakeholders.
Established in September 2003 as “LDH Co., Ltd.” HIRO has served as the company’s CEO and president while also serving as EXILE ‘s leader. In 2013, he retired from his activities with EXILE to concentrate on his duties as president. In January 2017 he stepped down from the position of president and since then has been serving as chairman.
On October 1st, a general meeting of shareholders will be held regarding future developments with LDH. HIRO commented, “We will be announcing exciting LDH related updates in due course, so please look forward to it.”
