Japan Weekend Box Office 07/19 – 07/21: ‘Kingdom 4’ continues to show strong results for 2nd consecutive week

Still showing strong results in its 2nd week since release, “Kingdom 4” once again topped the box office data in Japan for the July 19 to July 21 weekend with 529,000 moviegoers and 816 million yen at the box office. The total number of moviegoers has now exceeded 2.41 million, while the total box office revenue has exceeded 3.6 billion yen. Over the weekend, 6 newly released films were able to debut in the top including “Despicable Me 4” which welcomed 510,000 moviegoers and grossed 681 million yen in its first three days of release in Japan.
